Back to Ourselves

It feels like an era
That's passed
From then to now
And here we are
Back again
Back to where we began
Back to ourselves

Time has told me
Not to ask for more
For someday our ocean
Will find its shore

Time has told me
You're a rare, rare find
A troubled cure
For a troubled mind

And time will tell you
To stay by my side
To keep on trying
'til there's no more to hide
So leave the ways that are making you be
What you really don't want to be
Leave the ways that are making you love
What you really don't want to love

Time has told me
You came with the dawn
A soul with no footprint
A rose with no thorn
Your tears they tell me
There's really no way
Of ending your troubles
With things you can say

So I'll leave the ways of making me be
What I really don't want to be
Leave the ways that are making me love
What I really don't want to love

And time has told me
Not to ask for more
For someday our ocean
Will find its shore

Time has told me
You're a rare, rare find
A troubled cure
For a troubled mind

Time has told me

    1. Thank you Sir! For dropping a heartwarming note though I must confess that the words in italics come from a song titled 'Time has told me' that you can listen to by clicking on the last line : ] Nonetheless, the curious part is that as I began to write this post to express a knot, this song begun to play and loosened it smooth and swift and thusly the post just happened ~:) I am glad it earned your attention and thus another friend, thank you and keep shining!

    1. :) Yes indeed! Time especially tells us that all our effort toward trying to make others understand us are pretty much in vain except that we realise with time that the only one who can best understand us, is our own selves and THAT is a GREAT common factor we all share * <3 *
